Get Ready Before Starting the Form
Read the accepted document list before you take a photo. Check the expiry date and the spelling of your name and birth date against the account.
Use only your own valid document. Borrowed or altered images can fail the review and lead to a more serious account issue.
- Match profile spelling.
- Rely only on your own logs.
- Read accepted identity file types.
- Verify the identity document is current.
Capture a Clear Document Image
Place the document on a plain surface under even light. Keep the entire border in view and avoid glare across the text or portrait.
Inspect the full-size photo before uploading. If the date, name, or security marks are hard to read, take another image.
- Retake a blurred photo.
- Save every document edge visible.
- Avoid shadows and reflections.
- Avoid apply filters.
Use Only the Official Audi Upload
Open the identity form from your signed-in Audi account. An unexpected chat or social message is not a safe place to send document photos.
Once you submit, save the receipt and review estimate. Repeated uploads can complicate a case already in progress.
- Choose the verified account page.
- Keep the submission confirmation.
- Allow time for the published review period.
- Avoid duplicate uploads.
Handle a Rejection Carefully
A rejected file may need a new photo, a different accepted document, or a correction to account details. Read the reason first.
If the notice is vague, quote its wording and case reference to verified support. Ask what to fix before sharing more sensitive files.
- Correct account details formally.
- Choose the case reference.
- Safeguard identity file copies.
- Match the fix to the rejection.
